About the position

The Data Analyst position at Amentum supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The role involves analyzing processes, conducting data analysis, automating reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement program improvements. The analyst will provide insights to senior leaders to support data-driven decisions and monitor key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze processes to automate or find efficiencies
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate program performance and outcomes
  • Automate metrics reports
  • Provide written reports to senior leaders on data findings to support data driven decisions
  • Collect data from multiple sources, organize and report the data efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement program improvements
  • Monitor and track program metrics and key performance indicators
  • Assist with developing and documenting enterprise level processes and standards

Requirements

  • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience; Master's degree and 6 years of general experience
  • Must have 6 years direct related experience in data analysis
  • Must have 3 years of experience working in a management or leadership role
  • Must have IRES experience
  • Must have experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Must be proficient using Jira
  • Must have experience automating metrics reports using software such as MATLAB, PowerBI, Access, Jira, or other analysis tools
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, Information Technology, or other applicable field
  • Experience analyzing processes to automate or find efficiencies
  • Experience providing written reports on findings from the data
  • Experience creating and organizing lists and libraries in SharePoint
  • Experience writing and setting metrics goals, generating reports that explain the data, and working with the customer to determine what metrics will help drive decisions
  • A relevant professional certification
