About the position

The Data Analyst IV position is a long-term contract role based in Berlin, Connecticut, focusing on Database Management Systems (DBMS) and data architecture. The role requires a deep understanding of database schemas and the ability to analyze and normalize data from various business processes to ensure data credibility and relevance. The analyst will design and support DBMS, develop data architecture, and utilize SQL and other tools to enhance operations within a secure computing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Database Management Systems (DBMS) to meet system requirements.
• Analyze data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas.
• Gather, analyze, and normalize relevant information from business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility.
• Determine relevance and meaning of data to ensure accurate database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms.
• Develop an overall data architecture that supports the information needs of the business in a secure environment.
• Leverage modeling techniques to certify and optimize database schema designs.
• Manage and perform database administration tasks.
• Ensure the relevance of data within the computing environment.
• Utilize SQL and other relevant skills to enhance operations.
• Provide consistent support for information systems.

Requirements

• Experience with Database Design
• Mastery of SQL
• Strong experience with Power BI and Tableau
• 3+ years' experience with Salesforce data
• Degree in Computer Sciences
• Understanding of Business Process Functions
• Skilled in Database Management
• Familiarity with Modeling Techniques
• Prior experience in Database Administration
• Experience in developing Database Schema
• Ability to create and manage Data Dictionary
• Understanding of various Computing Environments
• Proficiency in DBMS
• Degree or experience in Information Systems
