About the position

The Data Analyst - Lead position at Belcan involves serving as a senior data analyst on the Business Configuration Solutions team. The role focuses on enabling member benefit configuration strategies through the design, implementation, and execution of configuration projects. The analyst will act as a subject matter expert, interfacing with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet client requirements, while also preparing and validating data for analysis and providing troubleshooting expertise on configuration tool sets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Sr. Data Analyst on the Business Configuration Solutions team.
• Design, implement, and execute configuration strategies for member benefits.
• Lead projects in the Configuration space to enable system and process solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the Business Configuration team.
• Gather, interpret, process, and validate inbound/outbound accumulator data feeds.
• Prepare data for analysis by removing duplicates, errors, and outliers.
• Run SQL queries to identify patterns and trends in the data.
• Provide data analysis and troubleshooting expertise on configuration tool sets.
• Document requirements, process flows, and execute testing for enhancements.
• Collaborate with Configuration leaders on roadmap deliverables.
• Provide Fit/Gap Analysis and Feedback Assessments on new client plans.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with the Facets platform and Medical Plan Benefit Configuration.
• Strong understanding of healthcare claims and data feeds.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Provider Network & Agreement Configuration.
• Quick learning ability.
