About the position

The Data Analyst position at Dealer Owned Warranty Company LLC involves providing data analytics and reporting solutions to support various business facets. The role requires expertise in data manipulation, report generation, and the development of ETL processes, all aimed at enhancing business insights and operational efficiency. This is a fully on-site role based in Parsippany, NJ, and the candidate will be part of a team responsible for sourcing, processing, and distributing data internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Standardize routine reports using Power BI and/or SQL.
• Develop new and existing reports in Power BI and/or Excel.
• Use Python or other tools to automate new and existing processes.
• Develop ETL processes and/or data lakes to support reporting process.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation of all work performed.
• Analyse client's performance and provide additional insights.
• Follow established processes and recommend improvements.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of Data Analyst experience in a large corporate environment.
• Experience with Power BI and SQL is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - MUST be able to deliver clear and concise presentations of data.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Technical expertise using PostgreSQL, Python or other relevant data manipulation tools.
• Excellent computer skills including strong Excel, Power Query and other MS software.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
