About the position

The Data Analyst position at TSG involves developing and maintaining custom solutions and interfaces using Microsoft Power BI. The role focuses on creating effective dashboards, managing data from various sources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights that support decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Director of Analytics, EVP of Audit, and CIO to create and maintain effective dashboards.
• Develop and service company management suites, KPIs, and performance tools utilizing Power BI and SQL Server.
• Maintain consistent communication with management, customers, partners, and peers to ensure alignment and understanding of data requirements.
• Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere by treating all team members and guests with respect, empathy, and courtesy.
• Work with diverse teams to gather data requirements and translate them into insightful reports and dashboards.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Create Power BI data models and visualizations that deliver actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Design and implement data-driven KPIs and metrics to track performance and progress towards organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• 1-5 years in Data Analysis.
• 1-3 years working with Power BI Solutions.
• Strong ability to create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace, including data extraction and analysis.
• Proficient in data modeling, manipulation, and visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of security protocols within Microsoft Power BI.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Enthusiasm for staying current with advancements in data analytics and visualization.
