About the position

LTK's Insights & Analytics team is a vital part of the company's mission, and as a Product Data Analyst, you will play a key role in providing insights that optimize business performance and assess the execution and impact of various initiatives. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere, but if you're near one of our LTK offices, you're welcome to come in for a coffee and socialize. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and measure success metrics while identifying actionable insights that will help LTK grow. You will be part of a dynamic team of problem-solvers and product-builders, utilizing a data-driven approach to gain a deep understanding of our rapidly evolving business and platforms. Your work will involve creating standardized metrics, intuitive dashboards, and compelling business insights that champion data throughout the organization. You will tackle ambiguous problems, applying common statistical methods, data modeling, and predictive analysis to answer strategic questions for the business. Extracting data from Big Data technologies like Redshift will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you produce clear and actionable insights. Additionally, you will help build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new experiences for shoppers and influencers, as well as breakthrough technologies and concepts that align with new go-to-market strategies. Understanding user behaviors, funnels, and long-term trends will be essential in identifying opportunities for significant improvements. You will also be expected to continually refine your technical toolkit and share your knowledge with the team, approaching problems with agility and a focus on results.

Responsibilities

  • Create standardized metrics and intuitive dashboards to provide compelling business insights.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and measure success metrics.
  • Extract data from Big Data technologies (e.g., Redshift) to produce actionable insights.
  • Apply statistical methods, data modeling, and predictive analysis to answer strategic business questions.
  • Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new experiences for shoppers and influencers.
  • Understand user behaviors and long-term trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Continually evaluate and refine technical skills and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as an analyst or in a quantitative role.
  • Strong SQL skills with a focus on optimization, refinement, and scalability.
  • Proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to change.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong quantitative foundation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Demonstrable record of professional and academic achievements.
