About the position

The Data Analyst/Programmer is responsible for leveraging organizational data to develop business analytics. This role involves using machine learning, statistical methods, and advanced analytics to analyze and interpret complex digital data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data for analytical purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain extract, transform and load programming.
  • Monitor data migration jobs and troubleshoot errors, including API monitoring.
  • Lead and coordinate with stakeholders and IT team to develop innovative data analysis methodologies.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to extract valuable insights from large datasets, helping to shape business reporting.
  • Understand and develop machine learning models to automate data processes and enhance predictive analytics.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analytical purposes through rigorous validation and testing.
  • Act as the SME for AI for business, investigating how the company can utilize AI across all aspects of the business.
  • Create process technical design specifications, create/execute test scripts as needed for projects or initiatives.
  • Be available for off-hour support tasks, as needed, and as part of any off-hour rotation schedule.
  • Comply with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety Standards.

  • Experience with API writing.
  • Strong skills needed in verbal and written communication, including communicating effectively with business users and software developers.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate diverse groups of people to move towards solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Programming experience.
  • Familiarity or experience with Agile/Scrum Framework is a plus.
  • Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
