About the position

The Data Analyst - Quality Assurance at Quartz Health Solutions is a pivotal role focused on enhancing healthcare data quality and analytics. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to gather data requirements, ensuring the integrity of data deliverables, and overseeing the quality of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The role is integral to translating business needs into technical specifications and validating that the final products meet established requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users, external vendors, and government entities to obtain data requirements for new analytics applications and data feeds.
  • Uncover appropriate sources of data for proposed applications or data warehousing extensions, profiling data to ensure fitness for business purposes.
  • Coordinate business requirements for data and provide consultation to internal stakeholders to support their data needs.
  • Understand source and target data structures, using standard data tools to review required data and fully profile it to analyze its ability to meet business needs.
  • Complete impact assessments and ad hoc analyses to ensure that production issues and other reported deficiencies are adequately understood and resolved by updating requirements.
  • Translate requirements into technical requirement specifications, documenting the solution via Report Specifications, Data Flow Diagrams, and Source to Target (STT) documents.
  • Map source system data to data warehouse models.
  • Work closely with the data team to define appropriate logical and physical models to accurately reflect business processes and meet business needs.
  • Validate that final products meet business requirements and service level agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Experience in data analysis and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficiency in data profiling and data quality assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud-based data architecture, particularly Snowflake and Azure.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python.

  • Starting salary based on skills and experience: $77,200 - $90,000 plus total rewards package.
