About the position

ICF is seeking a Data Analyst to support enterprise big data and analytics platforms, focusing on real-time data ingestion at high volumes and velocity. The role involves both software development lifecycle support and business analysis to derive insights that address business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support data analysis needs in a software development lifecycle and business support capacity.
• Provide inputs into data architecture design and analyze data outputs to validate data quality.
• Communicate data quality gaps to the development team and validate SIT and CAT results.
• Support production data validation and investigations.
• Triage and investigate user inquiries and analyze data to identify business insights.
• Collaborate with the Air Program Manager to create data visualizations and PowerPoint presentations.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a data analyst
• 1 year of SQL experience
• US Citizenship required by federal contract

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Data Visualization and Qlik
• Experience with querying and exploring data within a NoSQL data platform (e.g., Hadoop/Hive)
• Postal or airline/air cargo industry experience
• Strong geographical knowledge of US States and Territories
