About the position

The Business Informatics Analyst (BIA) plays a crucial role in the integration and application of information services within a healthcare setting. This position acts as a liaison between revenue cycle operations and information services, supporting caregivers in the implementation and adoption of technology projects related to revenue cycle and managed care. The BIA is expected to promote understanding and effective use of these technologies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional role model in promoting the understanding and application of information services in healthcare.
• Act as a liaison between revenue cycle and information services.
• Support caregivers throughout the revenue cycle in technology project implementation and adoption.
• Facilitate training and learning for users of revenue cycle and managed care technology.
• Ensure proficiency in primary applications supported by the Analyst.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Epic Readiness certification or proficiency in primary applications within 90 days of hire.
• Credentialed Trainer or Facilitator in primary applications or equivalent experience within 1 year of hire.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role working with revenue cycle or managed care information systems in healthcare.
• 2 years of experience working in an Epic environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in healthcare analytics or data analysis.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
