About the position

As a Data Analyst in Revenue Operations at Ryan, LLC, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights to support the cross-functional Go-To-Market (GTM) team of Tax.com. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive dashboards and reports primarily using Power BI, while ensuring data integrity and managing reporting processes. You will collaborate with various departments to meet their data needs and drive continuous improvement by staying updated on industry trends and implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Transform data into actionable insights to support the GTM team of Tax.com.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and other software.
  • Ensure data integrity and manage reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to meet their data needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a proactive liaison with internal stakeholders and shared service teams.
  • Support data acquisition, extraction, and forecasting processes.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
  • Verify, stage, and prepare data files for delivery.
  • Perform data reconciliation and analysis using Power BI, Microsoft Access, and SQL Server.
  • Prepare and document final data projects comprehensively.
  • Assist in the installation of custom data extraction tools and develop limited custom programming for data extraction tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar technical area preferred.
  • Proven track record in developing reporting and insights from multiple data sources, ideally in professional services or finance.
  • Experience in managing and delivering high-visibility operational reporting accurately and on schedule.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, and Internet.
  • Basic knowledge of database technology platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
  • Experience with business system applications like SFDC, SAP, Workday, Oracle, JD Edwards, or PeopleSoft is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) and/or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Workday is a plus.
