About the position

The Data Analyst (Sales Operations) at James Hardie is a crucial role within the Sales Operations team, responsible for ensuring data integrity in the CRM tool, providing insights to the national sales team, and driving solutions for key builders. This position focuses on data governance, reporting and analysis, and systems support to enhance account management capabilities and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data within Salesforce.com by following data quality standards and conducting regular audits.
  • Validate customer master and contact hierarchy information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Provide training support to sales teams on data governance best practices and Salesforce.com usage.
  • Communicate key insights that drive growth with national account customers including dealers, distributors, and builders.
  • Enhance existing reporting and collaborate with the national accounts team to build dashboards and reporting standards.
  • Manage account hierarchy and work with stakeholders to achieve nested reports of KPIs.
  • Analyze program and solution data to ensure success metrics are met.
  • Support adoption efforts for the eCommerce site, Hardie™ Link, and manage processes related to customer systems and integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, information technology or related discipline.
  • 3 years of experience as a sales or business analyst working on large-scale initiatives.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and its data management capabilities.
  • Experience with data management software like Validity, Plauti, Cloudingo preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with national accounts or key customers.
  • Ability to work with PM tools such as Microsoft Projects, Visio, Atlassian suite preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales process and manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience improving sales processes.
