About the position

The Data Analyst Senior (Oracle SQL DBA) position at ASRC Federal involves supporting data analysis and database administration efforts for the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM). This role is crucial for managing Oracle SQL databases, ensuring their performance, reliability, and security, while also supporting data sourcing, integration, and analysis tasks. The position is remote with occasional travel to the customer site required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle SQL databases to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Support data sourcing, integration, and analysis tasks.
• Perform database administration tasks including backups, restores, and recovery models.
• Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Analyze and define business processes that require IT solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, administration, information technology, or a closely related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with data, including data sourcing, analysis, and integration.
• At least 3 years of experience developing Tableau applications, dashboards, and data models.
• Strong SQL skills for querying SQL databases.
• 2 years of experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx preferred.
• 2 years of Business Intelligence experience, including data sourcing, integration, and quality projects.
• Experience analyzing and defining business processes for IT solutions.
• Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for a secret security clearance.

• Knowledge of ERP SAP environments.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Experience in an Agile Framework environment.
