About the position

We are seeking a strong Data Analyst with SQL experience for a long-term contract position at Luminous Technology Group. The role involves developing reports and supporting the implementation of data processes in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, particularly within healthcare, and will work closely with the Director of Data & Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports using SQL, Excel, Python/R, and Tableau.
• Support the build, development, and/or implementation of data marts, views, and ETL processes.
• Develop statistically sound reports on various population health studies.

Requirements

• Must have database experience writing SQL queries (minimum 2 years, maximum 10 years) that are well documented.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or OAC.
• Knowledge of clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, NDC).
• Ability to offer innovative technical solutions to streamline workflows and processes.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects independently.
• Experience working with healthcare data sets (EMR and claims).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
