About the position

The Data Analyst position at SSH in Dearborn Heights, MI, is a contract role that focuses on providing software support and managing client relationships. In addition to client management, the Data Analyst will be responsible for completing technical training, both online and hands-on, to achieve technical proficiency in the tools and systems used. The role involves overseeing the team’s JIRA process, ensuring that tickets and cases are managed and completed in a timely manner. Monitoring SSH-related dashboards and producing metrics reports for team performance tracking and management updates are also key responsibilities. The Data Analyst will identify automation opportunities to enhance issue detection and resolution capabilities, collaborating with the cross-functional SSH team to devise interim containment measures and establish preventative corrective actions. Achieving customer handling and resolution objectives while continuously seeking opportunities for efficiency improvements is essential in this role. The Data Analyst will need to leverage strong project and program management skills, along with business acumen, to navigate the complexities of the position effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identification of service delivery concerns, corrective action planning and resolution.
  • Client relationship management, including attendance at scheduled and ad hoc client meetings.
  • Provide responsive escalation support to address software failures and data issues affecting customer vehicles.
  • Complete technical training (online and hands-on) to achieve technical proficiency.
  • Oversee team JIRA process and ensure tickets/cases are managed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor SSH-related dashboards and produce metrics reports for team performance tracking and management updates.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve issue detection and resolution capability/efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional SSH team to devise interim containment actions measures and establish preventative corrective actions.
  • Achieve all customer handling/resolution objectives and metrics while seeking opportunities to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of strong project/program management experience and business acumen.
  • Experience and knowledge with JIRA cloud or similar software management tools.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with dealership personnel and cross-functional teams.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or firm understanding of the Vehicle Service Repair process.
  • Basic understanding of software programming syntax and data system interfaces.
  • Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and a desire for continuous improvement.
