About the position

Brite Consulting is seeking a talented Data Analyst proficient in Tableau to join their dynamic analytics team. The role focuses on leveraging data visualization skills to transform complex data sets into actionable insights that support key business decisions and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis and visualization using Tableau, along with proficiency in Excel and other essential tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Manage and administer Tableau Server to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Utilize Tableau Prep for data preparation and transformation tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Extract, cleanse, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.
  • Use Excel and other standard business tools for data analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Stay current with Tableau features and best practices to optimize reporting efficiency.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in data analysis and visualization using Tableau.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau Server administration and Tableau Prep.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business tools.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience working in a business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a government security background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker).
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
