About the position

The Senior level Technical Data Analyst position is focused on generating impactful solutions for customers within a defined clinical or business area. This role supports Clinical Excellence through data validation, analytics, system quality improvement projects, and regulatory reporting. The analyst serves as the lead technical support for a system business or clinical domain, mentoring junior team members and facilitating communication with stakeholders to ensure project priorities and timelines are met. The position requires a deep understanding of clinical and operational data, driving insights through data exploration and visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Generate impactful solutions for customers within a defined clinical or business area.
  • Support Clinical Excellence including data validation and analytics.
  • Lead system quality improvement and patient safety improvement projects.
  • Oversee Enterprise Data Platform data migration and regulatory reporting.
  • Mentor junior caregivers and provide technical guidance.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with customer stakeholders to provide updates and set project priorities.
  • Consult with leaders and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Drive information insights through data exploration, interpretation, and report development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytics related field with four years of relevant work experience, or a degree in another area with six years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced SQL ability and knowledge of database design and data modeling.
  • Significant experience in creating visually appealing reports and dashboards (e.g., Cognos, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
  • Highly effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Subject matter expertise in healthcare or related data.
