About the position

The Data Analyst will be responsible for in-house reporting and data analysis to enhance operational profitability and data quality. This role involves preparing, analyzing, presenting, and maintaining data for performance reporting, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop dashboards and reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on, develop, and distribute dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Write queries to extract data and validate data loads.
  • Analyze trends, recommend improvements, and participate in management reviews.
  • Own and lead the use of data throughout the organization.
  • Govern data to ensure effective processes and data accuracy.
  • Identify and analyze trends and patterns in collected data.
  • Develop models, metrics, and forecasting tools for the enterprise.
  • Create queries for monthly and quarterly tracking reports for various departments.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage the ERP system life cycle including training, updates, and vendor management.
  • Oversee the installation and operation of internal communication systems and data networks.
  • Liaison with third-party technical support.
  • Collaborate with the global Swagelok community to stay updated on trends and system functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of increasing responsibility in customer data analysis and reporting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing ERP systems and data.
  • Experience with ERP (preferably SAP), SQL, and Power BI is required.
  • High level of business acumen is a must.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, results-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Highly analytical with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
