About the position

The Data Analyst position at Ascension involves collecting and analyzing data from various sources to develop reports and statistical information. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, providing support and education to staff regarding report access and interpretation, and identifying data trends for quality improvement. This position is integral to the 340B and PAP Admin Support department, contributing to the overall mission of transforming healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from multiple sources for report development.
• Compile analytical and statistical reports as needed.
• Formulate, define, and recommend the scope and format of reports.
• Oversee the provision of ad hoc management reports.
• Review information for accuracy and reconcile data regularly.
• Provide support and education to staff on accessing and interpreting reports.
• Identify data trends and make recommendations for quality improvement.
• Demonstrate knowledge of 340B.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR an Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• 1-2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• 1-2 years of Buyer experience with wholesalers such as McKesson or Cardinal required.
• Competence with Excel/Google Spreadsheets required.
• Comfortable communicating professionally via email to a variety of stakeholders (pharmacy, finance).

Nice-to-haves

• 1-2 years of 340B experience preferred.
