Data Analyst

About the position

seoClarity is the technology leader in enterprise Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Our SaaS technology platform and services help the world’s best and biggest brands optimize their website content so they can be found online and connect to their customers. seoClarity is hiring a Data Analyst with 3+ years of SEO/data experience to join the Data Science team for our Chicago office. This is a full-time position and an opportunity to join an expanding team, collaborate with a variety of internal teams (Client Services, Marketing, Professional Services, Consulting, Training, Sales), and also assist with data analysis projects for our world class clients. Candidates will have strong data analysis skills as well as a demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically. This position is hybrid including a minimum of 3 days in the office at our Chicago location.

Responsibilities

• Support teams with the execution and delivery of regular weekly and monthly reports on the performance of their channels
• Tackle data analysis challenges posed by clients and internal teams by developing analysis methods that help deliver insights and provide guidance
• Develop and implement processes for applying data analysis projects across multiple clients
• Act as project manager to drive data hygiene and validation as part of a data analysis projects
• Deliver presentations around insights generated to clients and internal teams
• Assist with data tracking and management by generating reports or data sets as needed

Requirements

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Strong Excel skills
• Previous SEO and Digital marketing experience
• Strong project management/critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of HTML required – javascript, schema.org (microdata & JSON), PHP, .net, JSP, regex a huge plus
• Good presentation capabilities both by phone and video conference (PowerPoint presentation skills required)
• Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture or Coremetrics) required, certification a plus

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SEO analytics tools (seoClarity, Conductor, BrightEdge, SEMRush, aHrefs, Majestic SEO, Moz, etc.)
• Additional online marketing experience
• Previous digital agency experience/consultancy
• Accounting/financial background
