About the position

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Professional to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR metrics, data analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into visually compelling insights. This role will be instrumental in providing data-driven solutions to support strategic HR initiatives. The position is based in Richmond, Virginia, and is a contract role with a pay range of $48 to $52 per hour. The work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, and the candidate is expected to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. In this role, you will develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize HR metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends. You will collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify data requirements, define key metrics, and translate business needs into actionable insights. Additionally, you will design and implement data models to optimize data performance and accuracy, perform data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment to ensure data quality, and automate report generation and distribution to streamline HR processes. You will also provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI dashboards and reports, interact with the HRIS and People Analytics team and business leads to understand business needs, and provide technical guidance to the HRIS and People Analytics team to best address business functional requirements. Delivering high-level BI design documents to the HRIS and People Analytics team for review, supporting QA and UAT, and providing cross-training to the HRIS and People Analytics team on developed solutions will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and Power BI.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
