About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Data Analyst/Business Analyst for a twelve-month contract position in Lake Mary, FL. This hybrid role requires three days onsite and involves significant participation in strategic initiatives within the technology infrastructure organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work with various data sets and tools to support analysis, communication, and presentation of findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Independently work on complex projects related to budget, business plans, risk-related items, regulatory items, and implementation of policies, standards, and/or processes.
• Collaborate with internal initiative team members to understand their functions and design business intelligence, analytic, and reporting requirements.
• Support deployment and maintenance of a Business Intelligence solution, including data gathering, analysis, modeling, and reporting, and publish dashboards in SharePoint and PowerPoint.
• Analyze project implementation status, provide feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in planning and administering business-led programs, such as people-related management and global location strategy.

Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and analyze data sources and moderately complex analyses.
• Interact with stakeholders at various levels to resolve issues.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to understand requirements and formulate innovative solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred.
• Experience in the securities industry is a plus.
