About the position

The Data Analyst role at Sears Seating is designed to support and validate technical data transitions involving EDI, ERP, and third-party Demand Planning software. The position focuses on processing large datasets using Python or R and developing dashboard reports with Power BI or Tableau to aid the leadership team in making informed, data-driven decisions. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance analytics capabilities and improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support and validate technical data transitions involving EDI, ERP, and Demand Planning software.
• Process large quantities of data using Python or R.
• Develop and maintain dashboard reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Capture relevant business metrics to assist leadership in decision-making.
• Incorporate graphical reporting for efficient exception management.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and develop analytic tools.
• Develop visual metric/reporting tools for regular review at various levels of granularity.
• Provide analytics expertise and training to the broader organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Economics.
• Proficient in SQL and Python or R programming languages.
• Intermediate knowledge of advanced Excel formulas including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and VBA.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate professionally with cross-functional contacts.
• Ability to draft accurate documentation for workflows and processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and relevant data fields.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Power BI and Tableau for dashboard reporting.
• Familiarity with EDI and Demand Planning software.
