About the position

The Data Analyst position at a well-established energy sector company involves analyzing and reconciling data related to compliance and invoicing for various jurisdictions. The role is crucial for ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory standards while providing support to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply compliance rules for multiple jurisdictions, including EPA (U.S.), LCFS (California), ISCC (Europe), and Canadian Compliance Credits.
  • Run and compile daily reports from internal and external databases to reconcile data for invoicing and partner updates.
  • Verify data sets for accuracy and assist with daily uploads to ensure compliance.
  • Reconcile incoming trade reports with internal data and supplier invoices, ensuring seamless integration across platforms.
  • Issue compliant daily Product Transfer Documents (PTDs) and regulatory reports to clients and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking workbooks, adhering to strict timelines and compliance windows.
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, including compliance, accounting, and logistics teams, as well as external partners.

Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills (pre-employment test required).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills, and adaptability to various software platforms.
  • Background in data analysis or related field preferred.
