About the position

The Data Analyst position at Tetra Tech involves maintaining quality control of datasets related to debris operations following disasters. This in-office role requires collaboration with a field team to ensure accurate project data reporting and compliance with federal policies. The position is designed for entry-level analysts, providing opportunities for growth and increased responsibilities as experience is gained.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of project data using software such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
• Quality assurance and quality control of project data
• Generating daily reports regarding project metrics, work completion, and cost
• Digital file organization of project documents
• Relay vital project information and accuracy through collaboration with a field team
• Completion of client data inquiries as requested by project management
• Reading comprehension and application of federal policies to project data
• Progression of job role as experience is acquired, including data entry, reconciliation, and project reporting.

Requirements

• High technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day
• Must be available for short-term travel to support on-site client needs
• Ability to utilize Microsoft PowerBI or similar business analysis software
• Ability to work with a large team of individuals
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to understand and apply FEMA program policies and guidance
• Motivated and results-oriented with extraordinary attention to detail.
