About the position

The Democratic National Committee is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Analytics team. This role focuses on assisting with targeting, reporting, tracking, and other program-specific data needs, ensuring efficient data collection and analysis to support campaign initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Help set up processes for efficient data collection, tracking, reporting and analysis
• Work with a cohesive team to execute projects with accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness
• Design and build reports and tools for teams across the campaign in line with key programmatic priorities

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience applying data and analytics tools in a political, business, or non-profit setting
• 1+ year using SQL professionally
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and platforms used by other team members
• A track record of prioritizing projects with the ability to be self-directed
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems

Nice-to-haves

• A technical skillset that includes familiarity or proficiency in a variety of programming languages/software such as MS Excel, Google Suite, Python, QGIS, dbt, and R
• Experience volunteering or working in politics or with the voter file
