About the position

Our client is seeking to hire a Data Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in enterprise environments, specifically with companies that provide group benefits such as health, life, disability insurance, and retirement plans. The Data Analyst will join a division that is embarking on an exciting and transformative data migration project. The goal is to move vital claims and case data from legacy systems (mainframe and SQL databases) into a cutting-edge, cloud-based platform powered by AWS and Snowflake. As a Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in this high-impact project, helping ensure a smooth transition to the new system while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the data that drives their business.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from mainframe and SQL databases, transfer it into Excel, and manually enter it into the new system.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process.
• Migrate insurance claims and case data from the legacy systems into Excel, followed by keying it into the new system.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analysis experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience working with mainframe and SQL databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in AWS environments.
