As a Data Analyst at Bayer in St. Louis, MO, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with business and analytics stakeholders to support the execution of global commercial strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to derive insights from data that will influence business decision-making and performance. You will develop data analytic systems, processes, and reporting solutions tailored for business and operations teams. This position requires you to design and execute analytical experiments that provide business stakeholders with valuable customer- and product-related insights. Additionally, you will conduct exploratory data analysis, summarize findings, and present them to stakeholders and leadership. You will also lead reporting and analytics projects and train junior team members, fostering a collaborative and educational environment. To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely-related quantitative field, along with three years of experience in master data management of product sales and/or user account data for business reporting. You should be proficient in working with relational and columnar databases, ETL processes, and data warehousing methods. Your technical skills should include using SQL to query large, complex datasets to analyze business performance, as well as using Python and/or R to develop performance dashboards, statistical reports, and metrics. You will also be responsible for developing data processes using business information platforms such as Tableau, Spotfire, and/or Looker, and designing analytical experiments to deliver business insights and proof of concepts to stakeholders. Analyzing statistical reports to uncover patterns and correlations between product features and user engagement data will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will utilize MS Excel for data mining, statistical analysis, and developing data visualizations to understand customer interactions with products. Building predictive models to provide data-driven insights that support strategic business decision-making will be essential in this role.
