About the position

As a Data Analyst at Orion Innovation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Client's Supply Chain Material Resiliency teams. This position involves a significant amount of data entry and analysis, where you will work closely with the New Product Development team under close supervision. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage business and supply procurement analysis tools that will assist in identifying project risks and developing better strategies for the organization. In this role, you will be expected to input data accurately into various databases and systems, with a strong emphasis on using Excel. You will collaborate with remote teams to maintain and update files in a timely manner, ensuring that all data is current and accurate. Your expertise in advanced Excel functions will be essential for generating data for reporting purposes, which will aid in decision-making processes. Additionally, you will participate in operational support, which includes implementation support and administrative coordination for various programs and projects. You will act as a liaison between operations staff, suppliers, product managers, and program managers, facilitating communication and ensuring that all parties are aligned. Your responsibilities will also include conducting support activities related to record and documentation maintenance, generating data representations, and addressing data inquiries from stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
  • Experience with data entry and database management
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and procurement analysis is a plus
