About The Position

As a Data Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will leverage your analytical skills to transform complex data sets into actionable insights that support Navy strategic goals and national security. This client-facing role involves collaborating with clients to understand their data needs, conducting thorough analyses, and presenting findings that drive decision-making and deliver high business value products.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in business analysis, data standardization, data analysis, statistical analysis, problem solving, content management, and software/network programming.
  • Experience in data management, data governance, data quality, test data management, data architecture, data security, and programming (SQL, Java, Python, or R).
  • Knowledge of database query language (SQL) and report creation/data visualization (Tableau, R Studio).
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and techniques for data analysis, DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), and managing enterprise-level cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, or Physical Science.

  • Research, develop, and test data methodologies to generate cross-functional solutions through data analysis.

  • Simplify technical requirements and trends for various audiences using consulting and communication skills.
  • Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using databases and scripting languages.
  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
  • Apply data visualization techniques using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and MS Office products.
