About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Quality Assurance/Data Analyst position at Pathway Services Inc. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional data quality for our clients' planning and maintenance needs. The data we handle includes photogrammetry, 3D data, and LiDAR data; however, prior experience with these specific data types is not required. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, creating comprehensive reports and visualizations, managing data ingestion processes, and transferring files to our data repository. Key responsibilities include extracting insights through statistical and analytical techniques, identifying patterns and trends, and collaborating with various teams to address their data needs. The role also involves presenting findings to clients and conducting analyses based on routine, strategic, and ad-hoc requests. The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy and integrity, adhere to data management plans for each client, and generate meaningful reports and visualizations for stakeholders. Additionally, this role will support leadership in planning and decision-making based on data insights. This position is based at our headquarters in Broken Arrow and may require occasional light travel. Duties include overseeing the quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement functions to ensure the highest standards of data quality across the company. The Data Analyst will develop and implement quality concepts and methods to maintain consistent data quality throughout the organization, document findings, changes, or issues identified during the quality control process, and ensure effective communication with all teams regarding issues or required changes identified during the analysis process. The role also involves structuring and analyzing large data sets to extract actionable and relevant information, managing the requests, retrieval, and ingestion of data into the organization's data repository, and creating both ad-hoc and standardized reports and visualizations to convey insights and findings to internal teams and clients. The Data Analyst will perform additional duties as required to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement functions to ensure the highest standards of data quality across the company.
  • Develop and implement quality concepts and methods to maintain consistent data quality throughout the organization.
  • Document findings, changes, or issues identified during the quality control process, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Effectively communicate with all teams regarding issues or required changes identified during the analysis process.
  • Structure and analyze large data sets to extract actionable and relevant information.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of changes to QA/QC processes, maintaining adherence to established standards.
  • Manage the requests, retrieval, and ingestion of data into the organization's data repository, ensuring seamless data integration.
  • Create both ad-hoc and standardized reports and visualizations to convey insights and findings to internal teams and clients.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BA/BS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience working with databases and other visual software
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural team environment
  • Experience utilizing data repository solutions to manage data storage
  • Experience working with virtual and matrix teams and ability to effectively communicate/collaborate in this environment
