About the position

The Data Analyst position at Detex Corp is responsible for collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including ERP systems and market research, to support management in decision-making processes. The analyst will also conduct ERP audits, create training programs, and maintain the security of data systems, all while contributing to the company's strategic planning efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data from ERP systems, sales figures, and market research.
  • Generate reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement dashboards, KPIs, and reports for the organization.
  • Conduct regular ERP audits to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Run and share operation system reports with senior management and department heads.
  • Create reports for internal teams and external clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze data.
  • Create visual data representations using graphs and infographics.
  • Support KPI development to measure business decision effectiveness.
  • Structure large datasets to extract usable information.
  • Craft presentations and reports based on findings and recommendations.
  • Manage and maintain product Epicor ERP system data.
  • Stay current with ERP system upgrades and improvements.
  • Develop training programs and guides for end users.
  • Ensure data security and maintain ERP access and backup systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Systems Management.
  • 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skilled at designing and maintaining databases and data systems.
  • Proficient with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance.
  • Ability to train staff in ERP system utilization.
  • Strong knowledge of creating dashboards, reports, and KPIs across various business functions.

  • Experience in a comparable position within the manufacturing industry.
