About the position

The Data Analyst position at Plateau GRP involves utilizing technology to mine and analyze complex data from various sources to meet customer needs. The role focuses on improving data collection, analysis, and reporting processes while collaborating with intelligence and data analysis teams to support intelligence products and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze local, national, and global trends to identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Determine technical issues and remove corrupted data & fix coding errors and related.
  • Work collaboratively with Intelligence and Data analysis teams to produce qualitative and quantitative data analysis that supports Intelligence products and processes.
  • Build data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks and/or automation for data consumers to monitor, extract, and report on data.
  • Work with IDST members and USSOCOM leadership to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data management strategies for the enterprise to improve the quality and usability of data.
  • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Ability to read and understand other coding languages such as HTML/CSS, R, Java, C, C++, C#.
  • Experience with Gitlab and Jira for project management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for business processes.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience executing complex projects within government-defined timelines across a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Experience providing services similar in required tasks, scope, and complexity.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, R, C/C++, SQL, Go, Flask, React, SQL Alchemy, CI/CD.
  • Experience with Flask and React preferred.
