About the position

Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talented mid-level Data Analyst to support the Industrial Assessments Branch at the Defense Intelligence Agency's Deputy Director for Global Integration (DDGI). In this role, you will conduct analysis and calculations to determine how data samples and reporting can best support the mission of the Industrial Assessments Branch and across the Agency. You will be responsible for incorporating and evaluating risk through your analyses, producing algorithms in R and/or Python, and understanding the concept of data sampling. Additionally, you will be tasked with data visualization using Tableau and presenting your findings to Executive Leadership. Your role will also involve conducting exploratory data analysis with various types of data, including textual data. As a Data Analyst at Tria, you will engage with internal stakeholders to collect, compile, sort, analyze, and convey complex data into actionable recommendations and assessments. You will interface with external senior-level personnel under minimal supervision and work closely with web developers to create leadership and Subject Matter Expert (SME) dashboards. Your ability to build analytical models and perform quantitative analysis for strategic and campaign assessments will be crucial, especially in the context of military assessments and strategic risks. You will leverage your experience with multivariate regression, non-parametric analysis, and programming languages such as R, Python, XML, and Javascript to perform data cleaning and statistical tests. Your expertise in handling Big Data and analyzing large datasets using AI/ML methods will be essential for this position. You will also utilize statistical packages like SAS, Excel, and SPSS for analyzing large datasets, along with your knowledge of database design, data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly.
  • Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, XML, and Javascript.
  • Experience with databases and coding for exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and statistical tests.
  • Experience with Big Data and analysis of large datasets using AI/ML methods.
  • Experience with statistical packages for analyzing large datasets such as SAS, Excel, and SPSS.
  • Experience with database design, data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau, RapidMiner, OpenRefine, and KNIME.

Nice-to-haves
