About the position

The Data Analyst position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group involves joining a team focused on a transformative data migration project. The role is critical in ensuring the smooth transition of vital claims and case data from legacy systems into a modern, cloud-based platform powered by AWS and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise environments, particularly in companies providing group benefits such as health, life, and disability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from mainframe and SQL databases, transfer it into Excel, and manually enter it into the new system.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process.
• Migrate insurance claims and case data from the legacy systems into Excel, followed by keying it into the new system.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analysis experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience working with mainframe and SQL databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in AWS environments.
