About the position

The Data Analyst position at a leading financial services firm involves ensuring data quality and compliance, providing client support, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively while applying risk and control knowledge to maintain compliance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client queries.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and quality improvements.
  • Build project contracts into the vendor management system, ensuring accurate recording and monitoring of milestone amounts and hours/budgets.
  • Apply risk and control knowledge to ensure activities are compliant.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Financial Services and Banking.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an administrative or business office environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and instant messaging.
  • Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with risk and control principles within a business environment.
