About the position

Audubon Engineering is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Canonsburg, PA office. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across Commercial and Asset Management teams. The Data Analyst will be responsible for effective data presentation and visualization, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure clarity and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Streamline data processes and workflows through ETL processes using SQL and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Manage and optimize SQL databases for efficient data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
• Create data models and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Leverage SAP systems to integrate and analyze data relevant to manufacturing facilities.
• Work within Agile teams utilizing Azure DevOps for project management and collaboration.
• Translate raw data into actionable insights within the Power BI framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Present data insights and visualizations to stakeholders and business users.
• Write functional requirements and technical design documents.
• Implement business intelligence solutions utilizing SQL queries, filters, and graphics to analyze data comprehensively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MIS, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative degree from an ABET accredited institution.
• Minimum 5+ years in a technical leadership or contractual role with hands-on experience in Data Analysis.
• Ability to execute and lead multiple projects or large initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to generate and maintain a schedule for projects and initiatives.
• Understanding of business analytics, data acquisition, and optimization for stakeholder presentation.
• Ability to create or enhance CI/CD builds for release pipelines.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, including grammar and etiquette.
• Willingness to learn new platforms and technologies.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to identify outliers quickly.
• Self-motivated and innovative, capable of driving new initiatives to completion.
• Ability to follow and perform work in accordance with company and customer HSE policy.
