About the position

The Data Analyst at Amivero plays a crucial role in enhancing government IT systems through data-driven insights and analytics. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and subject matter knowledge in financial and workforce modeling, business transformation, and advanced data analytics. The analyst will work collaboratively to integrate data across platforms, develop analytical models, and support decision-making processes that impact public service outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate data sets across multiple platforms to provide a comprehensive view of workforce data and trends.
  • Develop analytical models and support data visualization to enhance analytic capabilities and improve access to data.
  • Collect and analyze staffing and workload data to create a workload staffing model that visualizes staffing gaps.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that report on mission-critical activities and improve standardization and communication.
  • Lead and perform studies, analyses, assessments, and surveys to address challenges using appropriate analytical principles.
  • Apply mathematical, statistical, economic, and engineering methods for operational and technical analyses.
  • Ensure analytic processes align with reference standards and implement Six Sigma and DMAIC-based approaches.
  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and develop insights and recommendations.
  • Formulate and apply mathematical models and optimization methods for decision-making and policy formulation.
  • Use or develop decision analysis and support software as appropriate for tasks.
  • Apply system engineering principles to enhance process effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Perform analyses related to operational requirements and support systems development and acquisition.
  • Ensure metrics and performance parameters reflect operational, technical, feasibility, cost, and risk requirements.
  • Assist in developing training for operational personnel and preparing reportable milestones.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3-10 years of experience in relevant fields.
