About the position

The position involves managing data hygiene on network storage to ensure that data is properly maintained and stored in appropriate repositories. The role requires collaboration with business units to create reports that visualize data, thereby improving operations within the organization. Responsibilities include participating in ongoing decisions regarding data collection, study design, methodology, and data analysis, as well as maintaining reports in response to requests from individuals or business units. The candidate will also present data to colleagues in other departments, provide tier 2 support, analyze and troubleshoot information system anomalies, assist in user onboarding and offboarding, support mobile devices and MDM management, ensure software is installed and functioning on end-user endpoints, and provide after-hours support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage data hygiene on network storage to ensure data is properly maintained and stored in appropriate repositories.
• Work with business units to create reports to visualize data that will improve operations in the organization.
• Participate in ongoing decisions concerning data collection, study design, methodology, and data analysis.
• Maintain reports in response to individual and/or business unit requests.
• Present data to colleagues in other departments.
• Provide tier 2 support.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate information system anomalies.
• Assist in user onboarding and offboarding as needed.
• Support Mobile Devices and MDM management.
• Ensure software is installed and functioning on end-user endpoints and resolve or escalate issues as necessary.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.

Requirements

• 3 years minimum overall data analysis experience.
• A degree in IT, MIS, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of current IT networking and security concerns and changes as they relate to the corporate IT environment.
• Knowledge of several of the following platforms: SQL, DB2, MS PowerBi.
• Knowledge of the following platforms is a plus: Targit Bi platform, Snowflake.
• Broad understanding of APIs and using them to ingest data.
• Must understand intermediate math and be able to evaluate numbers.
• Possess good interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to take rotating on-call.
