About the position

The Data Analyst will be a key player in a transformative data migration project, responsible for moving vital claims and case data from legacy systems into a cloud-based platform. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, particularly within enterprise environments that provide group benefits such as health and life insurance. The position is remote, but candidates must be based in the EST or CST time zones.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from mainframe and SQL databases and transfer it into Excel.
• Manually enter data into the new system to ensure accuracy and integrity during the migration process.
• Migrate insurance claims and case data from legacy systems into Excel, followed by keying it into the new system.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analysis experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience working with mainframe and SQL databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in AWS environments.
