About the position
The Data Analytics Analyst 2 position is a contract role focused on generating, updating, maintaining, and researching reports and data analytics for various teams within the organization. The role involves interfacing with multiple departments and utilizing the Advanced Distribution Management System to produce insights that support operational efficiency. This hybrid position requires both onsite and remote work, with an emphasis on technical skills in data analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Interface with Distribution Control Centers, engineering, planning, data analytics, and various committees.
- Maintain and create custom reports using C# / ASP.NET and Jasper Reports.
- Develop SQL queries, scripts, and generate reports as required.
- Analyze and verify the results of reports and queries.
- Update and migrate existing Reporting Web-Applications.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience using tools like Python, R, SQL, and data visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
- Skilled in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with object-oriented programming (C#, Java, Python, C++), XML, and code management tools.
- Experience with building and reading complex SQL queries.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Math or related degree preferred.
