About the position

The Sr. Data Analytics Architect at Wipro is responsible for designing and developing database solutions that effectively store and retrieve critical corporate data. This role involves analyzing structural requirements for new software and applications, migrating data from legacy systems, and optimizing database systems to enhance performance. The position requires a strong understanding of database structure principles and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database solutions to store and retrieve critical corporate data.
• Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality.
• Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications.
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions.
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements.
• Optimize new and current database systems.
• Define security and backup procedures.

Requirements

• B.S or M.S in Computer Science (preferable).
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles.
• Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
• Expertise in SQL and Oracle.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and customer management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, R etc.).
• Proven analytical skills.
• Problem-solving attitude.
