About the position

The Data Analytics Architect will lead the design and delivery of comprehensive data analytics solutions, focusing on the integration of AI/ML technologies. This role involves collaboration with the data visualization team to create business intelligence reports and interactive dashboards, primarily using Power BI. The architect will also be responsible for implementing best practices in data management and analytics, while providing thought leadership in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of end-to-end data analytics solutions.
• Conduct technical POCs on data analytics and AI/ML technologies.
• Work with data visualization team within the Data Analytics Centre of Excellence.
• Design business intelligence reports, interactive dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI.
• Utilize data architecture, data management, data integration, Snowflake Data Cloud, Azure, AWS, DBT, Airflow, Spark, Snowpark, and Python.
• Identify business trends, anomalies, and add insights.
• Perform requirements gathering, analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Lead Power BI implementations and handle enterprise-wide Power BI deployments.
• Implement best practices for production environment.
• Implement dimensional modelling principles, security, DAX, Power Query Transformations, and Power BI Dataflows.
• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to create and implement data strategies, design data pipelines, and develop data models and data products.
• Provide pre-sales support with sales teams, offering subject matter expertise and solution support on proposals.
• Conduct Business Intelligence and Dashboard Orientation Trainings for business users to increase adoption of BI/data tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics/Sciences, or related fields.
• 5 years of experience in the job offered or related fields such as software engineer/developer, data analyst/engineer/scientist, systems/programmer engineer/analyst, associate/consultant.
