About the position

The Data Analytics Associate plays a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and managing patient experience-related data at Baylor Medicine. This position focuses on preparing comprehensive reports, collaborating with data vendors, and maintaining patient experience data to enhance the quality of care provided to patients. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility while ensuring effective data management and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality for reporting on patient experience.
• Collects, manages, and organizes patient experience survey data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Maintains and updates patient experience databases in partnership with existing vendors.
• Performs quantitative and qualitative analyses of patient experience data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Uses statistical tools and software to analyze survey results and generate insights.
• Prepares detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Translates complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives aimed at improving patient experience based on survey data.
• Continuously evaluates and refines patient survey processes to enhance data collection and analysis efficiency.
• Provides technical support and training to staff on data collection and analysis tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, analytics, business, or related fields.
• Two years of experience as an analyst or data specialist in managing patient experience data systems in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with patient experience survey platforms (e.g. Press Ganey).
