About the position

The Data Analytics Engineer will be a key member of the Corporate Reporting and Analytics team, responsible for creating and maintaining data pipeline architectures to support stakeholder needs. This role requires a blend of technical skills and problem-solving abilities to address complex business challenges through data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain data pipeline architectures to meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Solve novel and complex business problems with high-quality maintainable code.
  • Ensure data is prepared for easy visualization and reporting.
  • Gather data from a variety of sources.
  • Express complex technical topics in easy-to-understand terms for management and peers.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and tools to support stakeholders' needs.
  • Advocate for leading data practices to ensure data-driven decision-making by business users.
  • Provide high-quality documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in the data space or comparable experience.
  • Practical experience with SQL (preferably MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with data modeling and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with visualization libraries and tools such as matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Superset.
  • Basic understanding of predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and data mining.
  • Understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce and/or marketing experience.
