About the position

The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data models to support business insights through Power BI dashboards. This role involves integrating large datasets from Adobe Analytics and other sources to provide accurate and actionable data for stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data models that transform raw data into clean, tested, and reusable datasets for Power BI dashboards.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Qlik and Power BI dashboards, ensuring they are powered by accurate and timely data.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data transformation pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, handling complex business rules and high-volume data.
  • Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services like Big Query, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
  • Create DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to translate business requirements into actionable data models and pipelines.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models.
  • Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, with a proven track record of building data models and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Data Fusion.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Analytics data structures and APIs, including data extraction and processing.
  • Advanced SQL skills, with a major focus on creating logic for data transformations and writing queries.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Qlik and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with digital analytics data (Adobe clickstream, transaction, and OMS data).
  • Prior background in ecommerce analytics applications.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Adobe Analytics Certification and/or Alteryx Workflow Certified.
  • Experience with QlikSense, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, and Adobe Analytics.
