About the position

The Data Analytics Engineer at Business Integra Inc is responsible for leveraging data analytics to support the development of algorithms and data visualization tools. This role requires a strong background in Python and big data, particularly within the battery domain, to ensure data quality and integrity while implementing machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and perform analysis to interpret results for algorithm development.
• Develop dashboards and GUIs for data visualization.
• Implement data preprocessing and maintain data quality checks.
• Create and maintain databases for data analytics purposes.
• Utilize machine learning and AI algorithms for data analysis and deployment.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in data analytics.
• Proficiency in Python and big data handling.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics skills.
• Expertise in data preprocessing, data quality checks, and database maintenance.
• Good knowledge of machine learning and AI algorithms and their deployment using Python.
• Familiarity with PyCharm and PyTorch for developing ML models.

Nice-to-haves

• Domain knowledge of battery pack and cell chemistries.
• Understanding of battery pack related faults and failures.
• Familiarity with BMS functionalities.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
