About the position

As an Analytics Solutions Senior Associate within the Asset Management team at JPMorgan Chase, you will collaborate with business unit CFOs to analyze financial reporting requirements and propose technical solutions. This role involves working with SQL Server 2019 and Databricks to deliver key financial reporting, while also engaging in business-as-usual activities, investigative analysis, and development tasks. You will enhance your technical, analytical, communication, and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the Financial Analysis Management Information Systems (MIS) Team.

Responsibilities

• Partner across finance to develop and optimize data mining and analytics for financial trends and initiatives
• Aggregate and mine new and existing data sources to make them available for reporting and analytics
• Develop clear and concise reports that identify strategic information and provide recommendations for performance improvement
• Lead MIS initiatives/impacts and results discussions
• Work within the existing data infrastructure to enhance the data available in our repository and optimize ongoing processes
• Partner with finance and MIS teams to ensure the consistency and accuracy of data and reporting
• Provide production support for the Essbase and SQL Server 2019 environments
• Perform development duties within the SQL Server 2019 and Databricks environments
• Partner with the business to provide analytical and reporting support throughout the month

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer related major (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems etc.) plus 3 years of experience or 5 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SQL Server 2008, 2012 or 2019
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Python
• Strong financial/business analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Proven background with systems support and direct contact with users to resolve issues with financial business applications

Nice-to-haves

• Strong communication and writing skills
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, Essbase and other Microsoft Office and financial applications
• Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts
• Experience with Tableau, Databricks, Thoughtspot
