About the position
MicroStrategy is seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative natural language processing (NLP) and AI-based solutions that will enhance our products and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, customer support specialists, and product managers, to identify and solve complex problems using advanced NLP and AI techniques. Your contributions will play a crucial role in transforming the way our enterprise customers leverage data to make informed decisions. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will conduct thorough data analysis and exploratory research to pinpoint potential areas for improvement within our existing systems. You will be tasked with building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes that support NLP and AI workflows, ensuring that our solutions are both efficient and scalable. Utilizing programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, you will develop and deploy NLP and AI models, integrating with cutting-edge technologies like GPT models to enhance our offerings. In addition to development, you will implement best practices for NLP and AI model training, validation, and deployment, ensuring that our solutions are accurate, scalable, and maintainable. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of these models will be a key responsibility, as you will refine them to improve accuracy and efficiency continuously. Staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in NLP and AI is essential, and you will be expected to share your knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement NLP and AI-based solutions to enhance our products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, customer support specialists, and product managers, to define and deliver NLP and AI solutions.
- Conduct data analysis and exploratory research to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes to support NLP and AI workflows.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL to develop and deploy NLP and AI models.
- Leverage and integrate with GPT models.
- Implement best practices for NLP and AI model training, validation, and deployment to ensure accuracy, scalability, and maintainability.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of NLP and AI models, and refine them to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest NLP and AI research and techniques, and share your knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying NLP and AI-based solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and React.
- Experience with NLP and AI frameworks such as NLTK, Spacy, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as MicroStrategy preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
