The position involves supporting the Digital & Technology team in conceptualizing, validating, and creating various reporting and data analytics solutions. The primary tools utilized in this role include OSIsoft PI, Python, Oracle, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), among other data analytics tools. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and team members to understand and define requirements for algorithms that will be programmed to develop software solutions aimed at summarizing data effectively. In this role, collaboration is key. The candidate will work alongside a Digital Reporting Expert to define and configure integrations between OSIsoft PI, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Oracle Data Integrator, and/or Python platforms. Additionally, the candidate will engage with software architects to deploy programs or algorithms on virtual servers, ensuring that the solutions are robust and scalable. The position requires working collaboratively with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance programming applications tailored to various data science needs. The role is structured to provide guidance and support, as the candidate will work under supervision, allowing for professional growth and development in the field of data analytics and software development.
